lol now Trump is saying the House should vote to release the files. What are the chances they haven't been tampered with?
The question isn't whether she would be a "good" president on these issues.Anders wrote:I believe she has a history of anti-semitic remarks, which would make her a terrible president on Israel. She is against supporting Ukraine with weapons, which would make her a terrible president on foreign involvement and military spending. She is a conspiracy theorist/qanon supporter, so who knows how that would go with accusations of her opponents being pedophiles. She repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019.Jorge wrote:She's better than Trump on Israel, foreign involvement and military spending. I did write about her as president in my original post.Jorge wrote:The question isn't whether she would be a "good" president on these issues.Anders wrote:I believe she has a history of anti-semitic remarks, which would make her a terrible president on Israel. He could just release them, though. Since when has law or regulation stopped him with anything else. He's doing this so he can "look good", then say that they can't release them due to the ongoing investigation (that he just ordered)lennytheweedwhacker wrote:lol now Trump is saying the House should vote to release the files. Right, but that’s exactly why I keep stressing the relative comparison. I’m not arguing that she’d be "good" on any of these issues in an absolute sense. I’m saying that on these specific topics she’s better than Trump, which is a different question. Take Israel: her position may come from a bizarre and bigoted place, but the practical outcome (less automatic US support and less blank-check backing for the Israeli government) is still preferable to Trump's openly pro-Netanyahu, pro-settlement, no-limits stance (she's better than the Democrats on this issue too). The same goes for foreign involvement and military spending: she’s an isolationist crank but the end result (less intervention, less funding for overseas conflicts) is still closer to good than what we're seeing with Trump 2.0.Anders wrote:I did write about her as president in my original post.Jorge wrote:The question isn't whether she would be a "good" president on these issues.Anders wrote:I believe she has a history of anti-semitic remarks, which would make her a terrible president on Israel. I know some people are saying it is stalling so he can scrub the files, but they've had them long enough that if that were the case they'd have done that already.
I'm really surprised they haven't been leaked by someone already.
it’s already starting.spike wrote:Time to find out if boinking kids is where MAGA draws the line.E.H. Ruddock wrote:He could just release them, though. I read earlier today that the proposed legislation would make the Justice Department release all unclassified pieces of the report. So all he has to do is just make all of it classified then no one sees anything.dad wrote:it’s already starting.spike wrote:Time to find out if boinking kids is where MAGA draws the line.E.H. I don't think he missed it but doubling down on it is quite unfunny and very RMeta.B wrote:Are you missing the sarcasm?
