The boys still have it in them to create music this damn good. I know some of this is the new album high that wears off, but I really think they hit this one out of the park.

Among "recent" albums I think this is much better than LB and better than Gigaton.

Pearl Jam made a good album, you guys.

Really looking forward to the theater Tuesday night and blasting it at home next weekend.

As long time avid fan you guys have gotten me excited. As much as I tried and wanted it to, Gigaton hasn’t aged well for me so I’m hopeful this is different.

Should have been about four times shorter though.
might be crazy but it reminded me of more indulgent Kings of Leon; nothing wrong with it in context, it's almost on the right side of cute to balance out the ponderousness of what's around it; and I like (and didn't expect) the rough, spontaneous "oh, we're doing this?" feel of the intro and outro; it feels a bit self-aware, BO'B would have put a trumpet solo and an orchestra on it

yes there's an 80s sheen everywhere, like we're listening to a lost record just on the cusp of the 90s, but I'll be damned: I grinned all the way through

Yeah but the Backspacer - Yield vibes were correct
But then Temple of the Dog raised the child after Backspacer left town.

For myself as a cricket fan, it's a six!

So acknowledging it’s brand new and maybe swaying opinions, but better than Gigaton, LB, Backspacer?

After one listen, I think I like Gigaton a lot more. But there's a lot to discover here.

I love Gigaton with my whole heart, but it's a more "serious" record; this is them having a lot of infectious fun, and I think it succeeds as that a million times more than Backspacer and LB
