Initially I liked this but after 78 listens the sheen has worn off and this is firmly sitting as a bottom tier PJ album along with LB

i am resisiting the temptation to rank - partially because i love those albums and partially because this is such bootleg quality. And recency. i am just starting a second listen.Force Of Nature wrote:So acknowledging it’s brand new and maybe swaying opinions, but better than Gigaton, LB, Backspacer?
Better than LB and Backspacer for sure. I'm a bit hesitant to say it's miles better than Gigaton because I loved Gigaton and I haven't yet heard DM in the proper quality nor spent enough time with these songs. It definitely has the potential to be bigger and better and it sounds like a more ambitious record, to me.Force Of Nature wrote:So acknowledging it’s brand new and maybe swaying opinions, but better than Gigaton, LB, Backspacer?

Nah. Ed’s vocals on this are better than Gigaton. Although they suck on DM and Runningdimejinky99 wrote:E.H. Ruddock wrote:This album is miles better than Gigaton

the drum pattern and how it changed up is lovely, this is the one that made me cryVal wrote:It sounds like a night out on the beachCoach wrote:Setting Sun almost reminds me of Footsteps a bit
