In light of Ed's vicious woman hating misogyny, how does that affect your opinion of Lightning Bolt?

I understand it more...specially those songs like Lightning Bolt. Now i can see its about "that bitch".
The same with Getaway, MYM...even Sirens....

He finally made their concept album i guess.

I wish he'd said "Now make your getaway" to this girl, and then they'd started playing it, in the right key and everything.

regardless of the key, or if they played it after, it would have been great

Playing the song in the right key might've meant fewer accusations of misogyny on Ed's part. People tend to forget that stuff when they're rocking out.

Today's listen to this album has gone pretty well, team. But I haven't got to the hazardous second half yet.

No, not half. Last third.

The worst two songs are in the last third, that's all I meant. I consider 10 out of 12 pretty good, though.

Its quite good. I thought after a month of playing this, with mini breaks here and there, I'd be pretty much finished with this one for awhile. But, I'm still really enjoying it. I rarely skip around on it too.

I'm able to enjoy the whole thing without skipping, but LTRP and FD are sometimes awful, other times OK.

Let this album sit for the past month while digesting the new Arcade Fire and Neko Case albums. I sort of expected to find it lacking, but I think I may like it even more after taking a break from it. Still a very good album that might be a great closing song away from being one of Pearl Jam's best.

Take out Sleeping By Myself and pretend it's a nice b-side, and it all feels good.

It's definitely holding up alongside other albums I'm spinning, like the excellent Arctic Monkeys' AM.

I love SBM. The songs I'm referring to are LTRP and FD.

I think Sarah needs to hold your head in her lap and rock you to sleep singing future days. And then just as you're about to fall asleep she should play the piano part as loud as possible. Then you'll love it

i was kinda surprised when they played it in charlottesville that boom only played the beginning piano part but not the ending part, not sure if its been that way the whole tour, but maybe they realized it sticks out pretty bad and cut it
