All three leak-branded sites have distanced themselves from Moscow. DCLeaks claimed to be run by American hacktivists. WikiLeaks said Russia wasn’t its source. Guccifer 2.0 claimed to be Romanian.

But there were signs of dishonesty from the start. The first document Guccifer 2.0 published on June 15 came not from the DNC as advertised but from Podesta’s inbox, according to a former DNC official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press.

The official said the word “CONFIDENTIAL” was not in the original document.

Guccifer 2.0 had airbrushed it to catch reporters’ attention.

They’ll either be pardoned or out of the country by then.

Don't you have to ... y'know ... have a name to go on the account?

Apparently no, according to that article:

"The language doesn't represent a change to existing law, as prospective parents can already open the accounts even before they conceive."

So, this is, what? Just a sneaky way of trying to establish personhood?

Of course. You can’t abort something with a college fund.

It sounds like something the pro lifers can grab on to as the tax reform bill rips up their retirements

Maybe. It contains language nearly identical to the state personhood laws that were shot down in several places. And here's the thing: you can already set up a 529 prior to birth. You're allowed to set it up in your own name and then transfer it to the child. Benefits are the same as in the new tax bill. So...no change except "unborn baby is defined as...."

I don't know enough to know what the possible legal implications might be for establishing personhood here, as opposed to in anti-abortion legislation...but if it's a bone for pro-lifers, they've sure not been tooting that horn too loudly.

years from now, after Trump is jailed / exiled / bankrupted, but has continued to live in denial throughout, he will look back on this time and be filled with sorrow as he finally accepts his fate as just, for having committed the most inexcusable crime of all:
Spoiler: show
low ratings

Apparently, people are really, really pissed. I can see people thinking he deserves punishment from the US government, but given how much he suffered, how mad can you really get?

i’d imagine that, after the months of gritty agony, it might be therapeutic to the american population to see both trump and hillary convicted for their respective transgressions. no doubt trump conspired with russians and sexually assaulted women; and no doubt hillbot ran a pay-to-play racket with her foundation while in the state department and colluded with the DNC to fuck over bernie/progressives.

then maybe americans can move on from these two pieces of garbage
Spoiler: show
and go all-in on two even less-skilled pieces of hot garbage

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty mad.
And Trump's mindless tweeting helped make it possible.
