They won’t be leaving us though. It’s worse.
Anyone who dies
They’ll immediately be zombified and in the night kings army.

This will really be a double kick to the guts.

Are the Dothraki gonna turn up to help save the day?
I hope so.
This is like helms deep all over again. Deep breath before the plunge.

All the gallows humour in this episode was great. Lot of people seem to be hating on it and not understanding what the night before a battle like this would be like

Can't think of any/many female characters in the show (maybe a few more in the books) who get to choose the when, where, and who of their first sexual experience and who get to be in control in a way that's not exploitative. You don't have to be a "shipper" to feel the power of the Arya/Gendry moment, and to criticize the awkwardness of two people having sex for the first time (Gendry's "Uh...um....3?" obviously means "zero") is pretty odd.

I don't think it was the first time sex that many found awkward rather the nakedness of a character many think of as a little sister.

At its core this show has always been about delivering hard truths.

Probably, but they already pulled that in the battle of the bastards

I am increasingly convinced a Stark will sit on the throne at the end. Dany’s vision showing snow in the throne signifies this

I, too, think that it actually works as a wake-up call for viewers who were never bothered by the show's use of nudity and sex before, but who get all antsy when a woman they care about and infantilize gets in touch with her sexuality.

Yeah, he was just sort of chilling behind Jon on the battlements.

First appearance since Season 6 Episode 3, right after Jon's resurrection, I believe.

Yup, I hope we get more. Would like to see other dire wolves get in on the action too.

Loved last nights episode. The people complaining probably didn't like the slow burn style of The Wire either. I pretty much reckoned they'd start slow, then have 3 action packed episodes, then tie it all up somehow.

Wight dire wolves also possible (what up, Shaggy Dog?). There also better be some ice spiders.

I loved the Tormund / Brienne scenes. Those two are funny together.
