A law enforcement official later told CNN no charges were filed against Crites.
After he was released from custody, Crites told reporters the incident started off when he raised a "Republicans Against Trump" sign.
Crites said he was then assaulted by a group of people around him before anyone shouted anything about a gun.
"All of a sudden, because they couldn't grab the sign, or whatever happened, bam, I get tackled by all these people who were just, like, kicking me and grabbing me in the crotch and just, just beating the crap out of me," Crites said, according to KTNV. "And somebody yells something about a gun, and so that's when things really got out of hand."
About the Trump incident. Quite the contrast to a protester at a Hillary rally when Obama was speaking.

Dan Scavino Jr., Trump's social media director, and Donald Trump Jr., the nominee's oldest son, retweeted Jack Posobiec, a supporter who wrote: "Hillary (Clinton) ran away from rain today. Trump is back on stage minutes after assassination attempt."
But the Secret Service statement made clear no weapon had been found. Neither has deleted the retweet.
Kid of late on the whole 538 dustup, but I think it's a whole lot of arguing over nothing. 538's still always predicted a Clinton win, and odds percentages really mean jack shit in the end when the end result is a binary of either Clinton or Trump winning. Whether Clinton wins narrowly or broadly doesn't prove or disprove the odds 538 or any other of the aggregators out there.
I will admit that Silver did really show the know-it-all strain that he's always held in that Twitter rant, though.

On a related note, one of the greatest and worst things about not having a Facebook account is that you don't ever see your relatives' lunatic political rants.
I have a close relative who was openly wondered why Mexicans had to come up to our country to have homes, when they could just stay in Mexico and build homes out of "sticks." I sure wish I could see his Facebook right now.
Nothing ever gets done in this age of our two party system. But the herd mentality will never be willing to do something so drastic to change that unless a president fucks up so bad that there is no choice. So of course I'm voting, and just hoping for the apocalypse. -->

If a legit third party candidate ran, i would have no problem voting for them. They have been near lunatics in different ways though.
Also, if Trump wasn't the republican candidate, there would be a good chance i wouldnt vote for hillary. I also think if that were the case, Bernie may have ran as a third party candidate.
