Just started Columbo. Never seen any of them before. I’m halfway thru the first episode and he’s not even shown up yet. Seems to be a lot of setup. Episode directed by Steven Spielberg.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Columbo is great. My Mum has the entire series on DVD and seems to be watching everytime I drop past.

Just watched S3 of Ricky Gervais' After Life. Great show, really enjoyed it. It was different but in a good way, and I cried a lot.

Music is really great too. He commented in an inteview that he'd never had such a budget to work with before so went ham getting everything he really wanted to get for the show.

Highly recommended.
