Somebody read this and tell me if it backs up my already held beliefs. Don't talk about it if it doesn't.

wow
Mr. Biden has lost almost exactly as much ground among nonwhite voters as he has gained among white voters, but because white voters vastly outnumber nonwhite voters in the most important battleground states, the trade-off favors him

The second switch in party preference between wealthy and poor/middleclass voters is in full swing. Republicans will be the party of the downtrodden again. Democrats will once again be the party of the elites. Nature is healing.

Who are you gonna side with, numbers? Those bourgeois liberals like McP and Mickey, who are safely ensconced in their ivory tower institutions on the coasts, or me, a hardscrabble, working class kid from rural Mississippi, just trying to do what's best for regular Americans, regardless of race?

The choice is clear.

Baby. Brain.

Also it's uhh pretty r-word to assume that a drop in non-white support for Biden corresponds to support for Republicans among "the downtrodden."

Anyway if you actually look at the data it's clear that two things are happening: one, Biden's support among non-white voters has dropped, though it's still ahead of John Kerry's 2004 numbers; two, white support for Trump has ALSO dropped, almost to 2008 levels. So yes, the racial voting gap is shrinking but not because of some dipshit mystical switch where the parties swap identities (despite things like Republican support for big business and nascent Democrat support for universal healthcare, which is to say, this idea is completely divorced from material conditions). A smart person might even expect this shrinkage, given a few factors, like Biden's relatively atrocious record on race, Trump's tamping down on the anti immigrant rhetoric that turned off conservative Latinos in 2016, or the basic fact that Trump is a just a shit president who's losing his base even among white voters. But you just wanted this to confirm your already-decided opinion of the world vis a vis "elites," so, enjoy that.

Both parties losing support and lower turnout does nothing to disprove the assertion, champ. All that matters is who shows up at the polls and who they vote for.

It also does absolutely nothing to prove it, so unless you have data on the various social groups switching sides it remains just another of your unsupported projections of the world you want to live in, where you've claimed some kind of victory over the "elites" you hate so much.

HOLY SHIT what a nightmare scenario for Trump

This might finally be the thing that brings him down

I can just see the headlines tomorrow:

'LARGE GATHERING ENDS, ATTENDEES WALK TO PARKING LOT'

what an embarrassment

It's inevitable. Things are in motion that can't be stopped. Call it intuition.
