We’re out of town yesterday and today for a cheer competition for the youngest Weaseling. Awakened to a text from the oldest Weaseling from 1am that her boyfriend broke up with her and she needs us to schedule her a therapy appointment. And on her birthday, no less. We were hoping this would never come because we knew it would absolutely wreck her. Not being with her and not knowing what is going on is absolutely killing us. All we want to do is get back home for her.

I need to see that Vader scene at the end...
That scene kicks so much ass. I always have to watch it like five times after seeing it.
It was great.

Really enjoying this TV.

Well somehow I got sunburned to buggery in winter.

Sadly, no fish. But we will try again in Mallacoota. What a great name that is.

when we were in Paris, our friends who own the house we are renting stayed here to watch our dog..they had some regular maintenance done..one was to get a new fan thing for the freezer side of the fridge..anyway, they had told us that the guy was coming back this morning to replace it and that we needed to take everything out and put it in coolers while he put the new thing in...we got up this morning and did just that..1 hour later we received a text that it was actually replaced when he was here and the owners didn't realize it...

ugh...yay

Sat my first Microsoft certification exam today. I felt pretty confident up till the day I had booked..... Had gone through all the online study, did the practice exams Microsoft supplies - was passing them easily, then came across other sites with practice exams - tried them and did horribly. Then the exam itself was worse - questions I'd never come across previously, the way questions were to be answered was different too. Horrible, horrible experience

There is a hog in me . . . a snout and a belly . . . a machinery for eating and grunting . . . a machinery for sleeping satisfied in the sun—I got this too from the wilderness and the wilderness will not let it go.

There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.

We’re about to grab lunch at a joint by the big pool, but they’ve just started blasting Macarena nearby, so I could see my wife calling a frustrated audible.
