Joseph Arthur fits the bill. That last RNDM album was the best thing any PJ member had done post Avocado.

I enjoy Tres Mts more and sad they didn’t have more output. I think that combo of Ament, McCready, Pinnick and Stuverud was excellent. The songs with McCready were particularly awesome.

yeah...I realized they guys have made many many records outside of PJ....

I see that list and can only think, "Wow, they really don't enjoy working with Ed." They may appreciate everything Ed brings to the table but just don't enjoy the process of making records with him.
