It's very rare that 3D will actually enhance my enjoyment of a movie; in most cases, it just makes the image appear smaller and darker, with the tiny bit of added depth feeling like a tawdry gimmick. But this is an example of a movie I very much enjoyed in 3D. Coupled with the camera work, it makes for a very cool storytelling device, and helps make some sequences all the more breathless and exciting. Definitely a worthy movie to pop your 3D cherry, but don't get your hopes up about the format: most of them suck.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Is this movie worth seeing in 3D? Or just a regular cinema?
I've never watched a 3D movie before, it should be interesting but I've heard some people say that 3D ruins some movies, or is just pointless.
Imax. The only way to see this movie properly.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Is this movie worth seeing in 3D? Or just a regular cinema?

That helps sell me on 3D for this movie, thanks. I generally hate the format.theplatypus wrote:It's very rare that 3D will actually enhance my enjoyment of a movie; in most cases, it just makes the image appear smaller and darker, with the tiny bit of added depth feeling like a tawdry gimmick.
