What would excite me would be new songs. How about a five song EP released exclusively on vinyl?
Fuck no.

You guys are funny. Ten Club version will be the version you buy from Ten Club. No difference.

Ok, apart from this release do they do anything as ambaddadors?

Ambassadors in name only? What did previous ambassardors do?

I think the versions will be different. I believe the 10C communicated that.

Keep your eyes peeled for an exclusive Ten Club version coming soon.
How are you liking that Ten Club version of the Anthology book, CT?

does PJ (or any band, for that matter) make any $$ off of special RSD releases? or is it understood that all proceeds go to the record stores? i'm sure it depends greatly on the band and the associated labels.

just curious. bc if PJ gets money off of the RSD Easy Street release, and they are holding out to announce this 10c version to capitalize on maximum profits (ruling out the possibility of fans only buying the 10c version and forgoing the RSD version), that'd be pretty shitty.

if all their proceeds of the RSD release go to the respective record stores, and they are holding out so that people will spend money at record stores, then ok.

I've never ever ever ever heard of stores keeping any extra cut of profits from RSD. I always just assumed that bands received whatever they would from any other release. I think the incentive for stores is simply to drive traffic.

Guys, seriously, what should I do? Should I go get this thing tomorrow or are we all pretty certain that the 10C version will be better/more complete?

Jeff was at Easy Street signing autographs today.

Snatch to answer your question: I think you should know by now that PJ will maximize their profit$

He came back to Easy Street and played with a South American band in the store. Went there real quick and caught the tail end. He hung around for a bit, shook his hand and said hi. Signed some records for people. Genuinely nice guy.
