We saw this tonight and I thought was a cracker . We laughed we cried. In short it was a great movie.

Chris Pratt was excellent, Rocket was amazing.

I would have liked more from Adam Warlock my only complaint.

Best MCU movie since Spiderman.

Really relieved (and glad) to see all the positive feedback so far across the net. Hoping it washes my long standing bad taste of Love & Thunder away.

Spoiler: show
this was just pointed out to me: When Groot says “I love you guys” it wasn’t Groot saying anything different; it was the audience finally understanding him

i liked it. didnt think it was as good as the first

bautista stole the film.

loved how as much as they all didnt want to admit it they all came to the realization that they were actually family despite all their backgrounds.

rockets story was tough and there were quite a few of awwwws during the story.

would have liked a bit more of the high evolutionary's backstory

I'm going to take my nephew to see it on Tuesday. I enjoyed the first two well enough. They're two of the better marvel movies.

I enjoyed parts of it a lot but the movie verged on pandering a bit too much for my taste. B+.

It felt a little weird shifting from sequences of horrific animal abuse to jokey mcjokes a few times.

The hallway fight was fantastic, as was everything involving Rocket.

Also, some pretty brutal stuff for what’s touted as a family-friendly movie.
*animal abuse
*murdering an entire civilization
*kids in cages
*whoops, I ripped my face off

I’m not a crier but I had a couple tears streaming down my face when Peter hugged his grandfather (due in no small part to some of my unresolved paternal issues). Excellent music choice.

Lastly, this movie felt like the true closing of the book on the first incarnation of the MCU. Time for a full reboot.

Quill even said the F word! I cried a lot at this movie, tbh. It was good.

Quill's relationship with music which was established right at the beginning of the first movie and then expanded out to include other Guardians throughout the series really benefits the movie. It lets the movie really slow down, almost pause at times, and just luxuriate in the music and the colors and a quiet moment. Pop music used to great effect

Holy shit, everyone dancing at the end was the cringiest thing ever in the MCU. Way worse than the forced "Girl Power" moment in End Game.

And Groot saying "I love you guys"....so wrong. The line clearly should have been "We Are Groot"

All the hype around Adam Warlock and he was basically comedy relief.

Good overall but it had its flaws.

He probably did say "We Are Groot." We've just heard him talk enough that we understood what he said.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I was worried about how they would treat him. He's my favorite marvel comic book character.

I'm glad they didn't do that. That's an extremely lame idea.

It's less lame than what they went with instead.

Also, it's nice to see Stick expressing an opinion. Let's note this titanic event.
