Finished it (100%) last night. Outstanding from start to finish.

Things to fix in the sequel:
1) add fast travel (at minimum, allow travel back to your ship from anywhere)
2) add ability to mark objectives and add waypoints
3) make chest contents and/or collectible hunting more diverse (I like that they didn't impact abilities but discovering your 88th lightsaber metal in the same type of chest isn't very exciting)
4) destroy Dathomir with the Death Star and erase it's torture maze of a map from all historical records
5) I never got truly comfortable with the combat system -- I could never get my timing down to the point I felt like I had mastered it. Could be me but I think something needs to be better tuned there.
6) I'd happily play this game for another 30-40 hours. Make it even bigger.
7) improve Kashyyyk bird flying animation
8) add force essences to the map tracker

I agree with most of these, a couple notes on your points:

1.) Add fast travel after the main story is complete. Best of both worlds?
2.) Should be optional, I like how bare the screen was.
3.) Yes! Maybe unlock different animations for lightsaber moves. Different styles/techniques?
4.) Haha!
5.) Have you played Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Sekiro? I found this game easier than those. The difficulty levels were straightforward too.
6.) Same. I hope there is DLC of another planet.

I have not played any of the Dark Souls-type games but I'm familiar with the mechanics. I think it's probably me -- I put more emphasis on using my force abilities to pull and stab or push enemies off cliffs so actual lightsaber battles were more rare in my playthrough.

Also, I would say no to DLC. I'd rather they spend their dev time on a sequel. Take the God of War approach.

I bought my kids a bunch of games for Christmas that I really bought for me and this is one of them. After the first 20 min this is right up my alley. Star Wars: Uncharted.

Been playing this a bit on the PS5, never did finish it on the Xbox. Maybe this time.

I downloaded it but haven't fired it up yet, too much baseball content.

Yeah, I downloaded it too. Not sure when I'll have a chance to fire it up. But I'm excited. I haven't purchased a video game in like 3 years.

I've spent a out 90 minutes with this now (finished the prologue and the main story mission on the first planet), and I am in love with the visual style and how the world feels. Sound design is great as well. Not a huge fan of the controls or all the gameplay, although the longer I sit with it, the more natural it feels. I may lower the difficulty setting a notch and just walk through it more for fun than a challenge.

Good advice. I haven't started yet. Should be able to dive in this Saturday. Glad to here you're digging it so far.

I really dig this game. The controls are a little strange but everything else is glorious.
