People say I have no sense of humor, really it's that I have a stupid sense of humor. And no one gets me. I'm like The Eeyore of RM, if we made a movie where Eeyore was played by Kristen Bell and the movie was directed by late-career Ben Stiller.

Stating facts isn't an argument.

Was your grandma in the play?

Yo yo, Broadway Joe...

What's a sane price for a pair of Hamilton tickets when a show like that hits the road? My wife and I missed it the first time it came around here, but it's coming back next summer and tickets are already hitting $370 each on the secondary market.

Wouldn't a sane price be whatever you deem to be fair or within your budget?

Fair and within a person's budget don't always overlap.

I can't speak to other markets but in NYC I think $179 per is a great deal, actually. I paid $149 per when I saw it. And I NEVER pay full price for tickets. Still thought it was worth every penny. I'd say if you can get "great" seats for under $200 each, I'd do it. If you just want to be in the room where it happens, you probably shouldn't need to pay more than $70.

But, again, I have no idea what your market is like in general. If you're able to go directly to the Box Office of the venue, I'd recommend that.

I just saw... something? I don't know. It was way too long and absolutely terrible. Brian Cox started in it and he was utter garbage. I'm pretty bummed, actually.

Joe, are you familiar with the West Side theatre? (I think that’s the name she said.) The wife and oldest are going to see Little Shop of Horrors there in February.

Be honest here. How weird/invasive would it be if I just showed up at your place of employment next time I'm in NYC (in 2 weeks) and said hello?
