That Waititi movie is likely on hold for the foreseeable future. I'd bet the announcement is all bout the Lindelof movie and what it means moving forward regarding a new "plan" for Star Wars movies.

I think that cycle is about to end. This Lindelof thing feels like a new beginning to an actual planned slate. Based on everything I'm seeing/hearing it really feels like they've got a real plan now. Which may be part of why the TW movie isn't likely to come out any time soon.

Lindelof is the big name so I think his movie will get the first shot. I trust him. I think.

Yeah, I just have no excitement anymore.

I mean, I don't think it's necessarily Disney's fault. This would have probably happened if LFL stayed "independent" and started making the ST and tv shows on their own. I think it was inevitable.
