I’m a white man living on a white man’s street. Got the bones of the red man under my feet. The highway runs through the burial grounds - past the oceans of cotton.
Im a white man looking in a black man’s eyes wishing i’d never been one of the guys who pretended not to hear another white man’s jokes. Old times ain’t forgotten.
Theres no such thing as someone else’s war. Your creature comforts arent the only thing worth fighting for You’re still breathing. its not too late. We’re all carrying one great burden, sharing one fate.

Didn't know exactly where to put this, so I put it here. YouTube rabbit holes end up someplace, sometimes.

He's playing here in a few months. His last album was my AOTY. Yet still I feel I need convincing to pull the trigger.

I’d love to go see him. He’s a helluva guitar picker.

I've seen him three times in the past couple of years. Twice in small venues. Pretty great shows, but pretty similar setlists from night to night

He looks so dopey on the Southeastern cover yet so dope on The Nashville Sound cover. It's weird.

I should poke around in here more often. In my area, The Nashville Sound on vinyl was available same day on Amazon Prime.
On Pandora they don't deviate outside of a relatively small number of bands related to this specific band for a Jason Isbell station. This does not often occur for rock or alternative, in my experience, as for whatever reason, the station wanders off away from the consumer's target.
I think I heard this originally on local radio, and not again since. How can I correct this?
Searchable by artist (Isbell and Sturgill are on there) and includes lots of resources like video and interview archives. There's a radio streaming component too.
