true, but I have been head-over-heels in love with the Minutemen for years now; I pay pretty close attention to both Touch & Go and Drag City Records; and I've generally followed the midwestern noise rock scene of the 1980s (mostly using Steve Albini as a point of entry). Somehow these guys slipped past me, and now I'm like "whoa!"
I know I was just messing around.

Teen Love and Too Many Humans are fun and fucking fantastic.

After those then A Dozen Dead Roses...Karma Nights!

And, Nash-Vegas polyester Complex. Totally unique sounding album. I think that's the T&G record, and might still be in print??

The Dwarfs of East Agouza have been rather prolific since their 2016 debut, Bes, releasing a live album in 2017, a second studio album in 2018, and a split release with Chris Corsano and Bill Orcutt in 2019. The streak continues on March 27 with their third full-length, The Green Dogs of Dahshur, out on Akuphone Records. At the moment, "Bent, Black, and Red" can be streamed on Bandcamp:

Toronto composer/musician Matthew Ramolo records under the alias of Khôra and released the third full length for the project, Holographic Dreamtime on January 23. It's another serving of ritualistic electroacoustic kosmiche with maybe a smidgen of vaporwave sensibilities as indicated by the title and artwork.

Random Desire by Greg? Dulli is out today. Very cinematic and more Twilight Singers than Whigs. It's very strong. The Tide and Lockless are the two standouts for me.

Constellation has announced their next three releases, which they have dubbed an "electronic triptych."

First out the gate is the third Joyfultalk album (second on Constellation), A Separation of Being, out March 13. It's the first album to fully utilize the Planetary Music System, a visual scoring method developed by Joyfultalk's mastermind Jay Crocker. Here's "Pixelated Skin," the second part of the three piece album:

Next up is another third release, this one the first with Constellation: Third Album by Markus Floats, the moniker of composer/performer/producer Markus Lake. Here's "Moving":

The final part of the triptych is another Constellation debut, the fourth album from producer and sound artist T. Gowdy, Therapy With Colour. This one would appear to be the most hypnotic and ambient of the three releases, with self-hypnosis used as inspiration for the music. Here's "Up CTRL":
