Except TI pretty much abandoned rock sound and became a techno pop dance band

Maybe mike was forced to release that statement as penance for him almost quitting the band over this album. It ass probably a dark time for him because there wasn’t space for him to rip meaty solos and run around the stage

I would think synth-heavy music would be right up his alley based on all of the weird shit he has been doing lately.
