TOTBL is an all-time top 10 album for me, and the three albums Interpol released after it are also great. Only the last two are mediocre, IMO. They need Carlos D.

Mumford and Sons. When Sigh No More came out I thought it was the best thing ever. But the novelty wore off and every album is the same to me. Timshel remains an incredible and excellent song, though

Sigh No More is great, but then they abandoned what I liked about them (the folk sound)

Agree with both. I wouldn't dream of missing a Glen Hansard solo show near me and feel he is soo very good live, but have zero interest in putting on any of his albums.

I tried with The Mynabirds but found it all kinda meh. I may not have given them the chance they deserve however.
