Jesus Christ. Over 29 yrs as a band. Rather than be open minded, most are losing their shit. Nothing wrong with this song. Maybe it's not the song that's the problem.

I don't really hear backspacer per se - somewhere in between backspacer and avocado I guess. I wish it went even further in avocado's direction. But I think it's different from backspacer which was...cleaner? IDK.

It's not a particularly memorable solo - it's probably the least interesting part of the song. Other than Lightning Bolt he hasn't pulled out too many interesting solos on the last few albums.

The solo's pretty bad. Time would have been better spent exploring the mood of the teaser clip more in the second half of the song.

It's no DOTC, that's for sure.

Why/when did PJ decide pop punk was a sound they should attempt? Where did that horrific idea come from and why do they insist on continuing it?

When have you ever heard an "anthem" that sounds like this? There isn't anything to even sing along to.

Yeah. I think the last third of the song is the strongest.

Yeah the end is the best part of the song, at least for now, much like DOTC. No fade out as well.

The song is so all over the place that I need some time to comprehend. Not a fan of the "lalala" stuff initially.

The first 2:20 is disheveled and forgettable. The last 1:30 is pretty good, and maybe better than pretty good.

What comes after this on the album?
(Still trying to hold out some hope for the overall record...)
