It depends, right? It appears if he materially contributed to the death then under Georgia law he could be charged, so if he did use his truck to detain the victim then under Georgia law yes. Objectively, unless he understood the circumstances of the chase, I would assume that it's manslaughter and more like killing someone while driving drunk.

Yeah one of the charges is false imprisonment, so clearly they think he was aiding in keeping him there.
