My appreciation of DTE has been totally colored by the sheer number of underwhelming live takes. When I hear the recorded version, I'm like "Oh yeah, I forgot how awesome this song is."

Some live versions are absolutely killer, but others fall kind of flat. Depends on the placement in the set and how much energy Ed brings to it.
