How do we measure fame? I say you show a picture of the celebrity to half of the people on earth and ask if they know that person's name, with some points for recognition but not the ability to name. Then, you say the name of the celebrity to the other half of the world population, and ask if they can describe who that person is or identify some highlight from their career.
Who is the most famous person in the world? Barack Obama?
