Don't like Eddie's growly DTE vocals.
Like the controlled tempo.
Some sloppy playing from Stone on his ONE PART GAH!
Matt's pretty good here.
"I am the first man to wet my pants" WTF DOES THAT MEAN. I hate when Eddie says stuff like that, its so stupid.
I guess it makes sense for Eddie to growl on this song, Im still not a huge fan of it. Interesting guitar on the ending, never heard that before. Pretty cool.
I know it's hard, but just take a deep breath.Strat wrote:mikejasond wrote:Interesting hearing 'that was an old song, this is a new song' to transition from Nothingman to DTE. Really shows how far back this was.

You know all the Bettermans are live, right? Even the album version.mikejasond wrote:I love Better Man live. One of the best for sure, with that little boost of extra energy.
Great fill from Matt into 'SHE LOVED HIM'
Ive heard a version from like 94 or so and Eddie was O_________________________O amazing, he's still good here though. He's just missing some of that power. Still good.
I actually found myself missing the extended end though
Well I like the live in concert versions sometimes better than the studio because it gets some extra energy and its perfect for the extended end they do.E.H. Im used to hearing his earlier stuff. I know from a History of Rock class in college that he ended up basically inventing Grunge, but Im still used to his old borderline country stuffStrat wrote:"Who knew neil was such a badass"

No. I mean the "studio" version is actually a live version of the song.
