When (and why, for that matter) did Steven A Smith become this big-time political commentator? He was barely tolerable as a sports guy.

In my eyes, the Democratic Party has no future. They will have their states but they are losing on fronts there. I visited Maine a few weeks ago and that felt like my kind of blue state. Clearly there is an edge in that state for democrats, but there also was plenty of people that I came across that were not extremists. There was a lot of common sense and middle of the road America to be found and that’s how America should be. We will always have extremes but the extremes shouldn’t be the ruling and representative class.
I think whatever happens in NYC will send shockwaves throughout the rest the country and tighten a more right wing grip as people observe how things unfold.
Be blessed,
Jared
