Its nothing that exciting, the logo behind Laurence Fishburne's head is for our largest bank in Australia.

Not 100% sure why I bothered to post that tbh. Beer is a hell of a co-pilot.

This is a great pub!

I've played there several times but it's been a while since I've been in and didn't know about the jazz night.

My kid and I just watched a Magpie eat a Huntsman spider off the window.

The last couple weeks have been daunting emotionally as I told my family and friends, and the next two months will be busy af as preparations are made. Will all be worth it, but I’ll need to sleep for a week come July.

Congrats spike! That's exciting. I'm sure it is a daunting task to move your family around the world, good luck!

Thanks man. Yeah it’s already getting intense. Toured four schools last week, then drove around town the other day with a placement specialist to get a lay of the land property wise. We’ll probably rent for a year before buying anything, but who knows.

We picked a school but the gov’t isn’t making it easy getting her vaccinations on file so we can enroll her. It’ll get done this week hopefully, so we can shift focus to the home front.

Then there’s packing and selling a bunch of stuff, including up to two properties, a boat, and two cars. The wife’s company has been pretty helpful so far, and are covering all moving costs.

Apologies to RM that my HOA president material shared for your amusement will be ending, but the American in a foreign land material should be good.
