Well, I told her she was accepted into the club, is now an official RMer, and her interest has also seemed to wane since Saturday night. Maybe I'll get her to post something soon.

Do you think you may be putting some undue pressure on her here? I mean this first post is gonna have some serious scrutiny, y'know? I can see Dev in the corner, all tense and shit, ready to fucking pounce man!

Yeah probably. As I said, we had a few drinks Saturday night and it seemed fun then. I convinced her to try it. Now I'll just wait for the right moment and ask if she wants to. If not, it's fine. No pressure. She's got super high self-esteem though, and no one like internet message board Dev can get under her skin, so that's not a concern.

Guys, it's actually her. If she wants to vote, she's allowed to vote. I did ask her if she would vote for me in the video game tournament and she said yes. It's a little shady, but not cheating by any means. She did actually like my games more than Elmo Sailor's. Big Nintendo fan.

I'm assuming there would just be inherent bias for her to vote with you since she is your wife. Kind of like how spike votes with me since I'm his daddy.

That's the "kinda shady" part, along with the fact she doesn't other wise post just yet. Though, I did show her my games list and the Elmo's, and she wasn't even familiar with his and loved almost all of mine. I assume if you can actually get your friend or family member on board to joining the board and understanding the goings-on within, it's well earned.
