Tooth pain is one of the most maddening things you can endure. I started to fel really sharp tooth pain during my trip to Europe a couple months ago and it nearly ruined my time in London. Came home, had a root canal that apparently failed (I didn't know that could happen!) leading to a second root canal. I'm fine now.

The most annoying part is I take good care of my teeth. I brush upon waking, after lunch, and before bed. I floss. I do all the things you're supposed to. And still I had this crazy cavity.

I had to have a root canal and didn’t even have a cavity or pain. It was a thirty year old filling from a cavity in my youth that had overstayed its welcome and cracked the tooth. I have the same filling on the other side, so just counting down til that tooth also cracks.
