New rumour - PJ playing the festival of rock being organised by sonisphere in July at knebworth
This fits the Euro rumor timeline well.dimejinky99 wrote:New rumour - PJ playing the festival of rock being organised by sonisphere in July at knebworth
Would this be a festival? Seems huge.dimejinky99 wrote:Phoenix park in Dublin. 1752 acres. Holds three gigs a year, all on the same weekend.
Pj have been tipped.
My guess is it will be the same as the last couple of Euro tours. The cash grab festival circuit combined with a few shows on their own. They seem to like it that way. We'll probably know a lot more between now & the end of the year when most big festivals for the June-July period come with their headliners.CopperTom wrote:Would this be a festival? I was hoping to do a Euro show, hopefully Ireland, but I would balk at a festival.
My faith in an Australian PJ warm-up/sideshow may be repaid after allwww.bigdayout.com wrote:The Big Day Out 2014 sideshows have been announced! Arcade Fire, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, Major Lazer, Primus, The Lumineers, Grouplove, CSS, Mac Miller, Toro y Moi, Portugal. The Man, and The 1975 are taking over venues down the East Coast to give their fans an extra chance to see them perform while they’re in the country for Big Day Out.
Festivals seems to have become standard business practice for every rock band especially the less mainstream oriented ones. There's also an abnormal number of festivals around and as far as i can tell they are very popular.Angus wrote:My guess is it will be the same as the last couple of Euro tours. I'm hoping for a Florida show too. I want to fly down for PJ and the beach.Herd Behavior wrote:Surprised if PJ didn't add a few Florida shows on the next us tour. West Palm is one of the best venues in amurrica
Are you talking about the Coral Sky Ampitheater? I know it's a corporate name now but yes, it's a good place to see a concert. Horrible getting out though.Herd Behavior wrote:Surprised if PJ didn't add a few Florida shows on the next us tour. West Palm is one of the best venues in amurrica
The latest rumor set I saw was similar. Except it started in Italy a week sooner and ended in UK a week sooner. It didn't have Iceland but had a Poland and Denmark date.broken iris wrote:RUmors via @PearlJamOnLine.it:
6/20 San Siro, Milan

6/26 Wuhlheide, Berlin
7/8-7/11 Various UK
That might be worth a trip

I was just posting what I saw since there wasn't much else being reported here. I find it hard to believe they would not hit Amsterdam again given the love they got there last time.CopperTom wrote: The latest rumor set I saw was similar.
