Is there talk of Seattle letting Geno go?
He just signed a deal and will make $52 million next season. :haha:

As of 3/10/23 this is the QB picture for each team.

It's shaping up as one of the more stable QB years in a while.

Keeping their QB from last season:
KC
BUF
ARZ
LAC
CIN
DAL
NE
JAX
PHI
MIN
SF
PIT
CLE
DET
SEA
NYG
CHI - traded 1st overall pick for Moore
MIA - picked up 5th year option on Tua

Maybe changing QB:
BAL
DEN
LAR
TEN

Certain change:
GB
CAR
HOU
WAS
IND
ATL
NO - Signed Carr
LV
TB
NYJ

Rich Eisen said on his podcast Brady to Miami was the No. 1 rumor at the combine....

Tampa is technically keeping their QB from last season, he was just on the practice squad. It’s looking more and more like they’re going with Trask this season

Miami is only in the "maybe" category if they can get somebody next level and that's only Lamar Jackson and they don't have the assets to trade for him. Tua's cheaper than Rodgers and Brady and outplayed both of them last year.

I think Miami's play here is obvious: extend Tua now to an injury-discounted team friendly deal that has yearly outs. Nice up front bonus along with $25-30m a year. As long as the team holds the options, if he proves next year that he can't play a full season it'll be fine.

i'd actually prefer tua over lamar jackson, hoping he can stay healthy and ball out all year this time

If anyone wants Mac Jones we can give him to you for free. We will cover the plane ticket.

Man, I really hope so. In that same idea, I hope they can solidify the OL a bit more. Grier and McDaniel are talking like the line is pretty much set and it was just injuries (and reading between the lines, coaching) so they're focused more on depth, but I wouldn't be upset at all if they used more money/picks trying to upgrade the line.

Yeah, at least now we know what he's capable of if he can steer clear of injuries. Big IF. Improved line will definitely help, though you can't really avoid the hits he took last year. Apparently he's studying martial arts to learn how to fall better. We'll see if that helps.

I feel like he's a one hit away from early career ending type of guy. Not his fault of course. Bad luck, etc.

certainly does feel that way.. though concussions weren't really a part of his injury history until last year.. so it's possible he can avoid them with some training or better luck or whatever

Pats should send Mac out of town for a bag of balls.

Trade their 2nd rounder for Hopkins.

Sign Lamar and give up the 2 firsts.

Championship.
