Yeah for the most part. I miss norcal though.

Ive seen a few families leave and come back. Usually in a much smaller house or renting. All because they sell at Cali prices, got to points east, buy a mansion. Cant get all the money back out of the mansion when they sell, and come back to prices that have only gone up since they left.

I didn't know Winco stood for Winning Company, either.. I always thought it was an anagram for the states where there were stores (Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California,Oregon )

Those are the official and unofficial reasons. Today, the acronym would need to be Wincouta as they've expanded to Arizona, Utah, and now Texas.

The news this morn ran a story that we may get a new Winco in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento.
