When Pearl Jam was new,
some boy once told me
Pearl Jam was music
for girls,
and I was seriously offended, for he did not mean that as a compliment.
I could 'prove' it was not
by the statistics of the Bugs mailinglist,
which was
about 40/60
f/m.

To make for a fancy,
restaurant gotta stain it
(and give it a couple.)
Of coats, of wax...and then it'll,
be
Done.
Had.
a total Crisis of confidence doing this
one hope.
it's up to the job.
120 bottles of wine would be.

newton, connecticut,
had an immediate and overwhelming
impact on me.
my best friend is
a very christian man,
and he knows where
i now stand in regards to religion,
but as a best friend and a christian man,
he wants to "save me,"
and this song is exactly how i feel
when he tries.
the line burt reynolds pointed out
stands out for me too,
but my favorite line by far is,
"for god's sake!"
