Such as?
- Bethesda not adopting some of the quality of life improvements that other RPGs/developers have introduced lately
- Inventory/UI issues (a frequent issue in Bethesda games)
- "You have to play 50+ hours and unlock new game plus for the game to truly get started"
- Ship customization being complex

I don't want to pick up a dinner plate or a squeeze bottle. And I'd love to be able to kill that hulking robot who is constantly getting in my way. I will give him praise for carrying all my crap, though.
I've never understood this criticism. Just stop picking up random crap, you klepto!

FO4 and FO76 absolutely required you to pick up everything, otherwise you’d need aluminum to repair your power armor and suddenly realize you need to go out and collect 50 cans.

Maybe if you took better care of your power armor, you wouldn't have collect cans?

Never felt like less of a man than when I had to go to some fandom wiki and search “locations with lots of duct tape.”

Because you have to hunt through and be distracted by a mountain of nothing to potentially find some good stuff. And the tooltip pop-ups get annoying.

I KNOW! I’m not picking it up; I’m scanning over everything because I might find a book, audio log, story element, etc wedged between all that crap.

Finally got to boot it up last night and played several hours. Loving it but it’s a steep learning curve, and the map system does suck. Got lost doing side stuff. Shooting feels a lot better than I thought.
