Sure wish they would get the accents right when delivering this dumb as dirt exposition and Skeletor-depth character study dialog.

Why is Napoleon the only one with an American accent before there even were American accents? Should most of the accents at least be fucking French?

Having them speak English in a French accent would be worse. Comical, even. There's a long history of America movies about foreigners, full of Americans speaking American. Other countries do it, too. Chernobyl was full of people with posh English accents. Just roll with it

I assume this guy is in it somewhere. Whenever Hollywood needs a french guy, this guy is always there.

But they need to be consistent. One character, the titular character no less, speaking in a different accent in which they’re all supposed to be from the same place is stupid.

We had this conversation earlier in the thread. I said this exact thing. Thank you for being on the right side of history for once.

It turns out, at the end of the day, you can change the sound of your voice.
