I'm standing by my guess. $79.99 for standard. We'll find out soon!

I think that’s a good guess. $100 for 3-day early access?
Has there been any indication if online is going to launch Day 1? If so, I could see an early-access deluxe edition with Shark Cards and bonus vehicles and etc for something like $150.

I'm going with $79.99 for standard as well. I'm going with whatever version provides that sought after steel book...

$79.99 for standard
$99.99 for ultimate
The Ultimate Edition grants you access to an "exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action around every corner," according to the official website.
No disc is included in the physical edition. No buy for me now. JFC. Some outlets are reporting this is to prevent leaks and a true physical edition will release in 2027.

That PlayStation press release is a joke. Just a low effort nothing burger.

Rockstar is obviously still going to be printing money with this, but it’s kind of wild that they’ve managed to generate negative press with the first trickle of new info for the most anticipated video game of probably the last 10 years.

It's not wild to me. It's corporate greed. To the highest degree. Just charge a higher amount for a disc. Even if the "physical forever" people, like myself, "speak with their wallets", this game will still sell 50 million units instead of 50.1 million units. Give the consumer the choice. Fuck Rockstar. Of all games to pull this stunt...

Just delay the physical edition by a month if you're trying to prevent leaks.

I dunno if you saw, but they had to take down all of their posts across social media and post new ones because they all included shots of the PS5 disc edition.

Yikes.
I wonder how big the file size for this will be.

I would assume multiple discs (I'm assuming this busts the 200GB easily). RDR2 came on two discs and I think that weighed in around 110ishGB pre patch (need a fact check on this). Agree with all though there's no real defend-able excuse not to provide physical disc with the god damn purchase. I do kind of understand the leak dilemma, but still greed at it's finest.
I'm still hoping out hope for a delayed physical release, preferably a beefed up offering with a steel book down the line and a folded up map that used to be embedded in every Rockstar release for as long as I can remember, but given this most recent news, not sure I even want a steel book at this point. I won't lie I'm still downloading this fucker to play it day 1 though...
