No chance lance I'm even spending the $90 at Ross for those ugly shoes. I hear they feel nice though!

This video shows one of my favorite moments of the night which was the transition from Crazy Mary into Unthought Known - he really kept the momentum going. (Though if you go a couple minutes earlier you can see the dueling solos of mike and boom which was also a great moment)

how were wont tell and WFS received
I thought pretty good? DEFINITELY better than MSG but still it doesn't seem the crowd sings along as much as they do to every other song. Im surprised that at no show did it seem the crowd was THAT into the Dark matter stuff (You hear them singing like every word of their older songs, but couldn't really hear anybody doing so for the newer stuff). But they definitely seemed to me to be down for it, from what I can tell, they seemed receptive at the very least. Whereas at MSG people around me were sitting down.

Before WFS, Eddie pointed to a guy in the crowd and said that he's had that sign at all these shows on the tour, and that they're going to play his song, and it's Waiting for Stevie, and I thought the crowd reacted well.

IMO Won't Tell and Waiting for Stevie sound great live

I love Wreckage on the album but live it doesn't do much for me, I don't think it transfers that well (for me personally).

But yeah, I dont know, I thought it was a solid reception for the new stuff but not the excitement I expected at any show I was at - but at this one they at least seemed into it.

During Ledbetter, Mike played a snippet of More Than A Feeling and Eddie rushed over to the mic and started singing it but Mike switched immediately back to YL

I also pissed during Not For You. But i was on an aisle and near an exit so I was back at my seat for some of Modern Girl.

I took a second piss break, but I won't tell you guys the song because I can't endure the public shaming.

mikejasond wrote:Somebody posted Corduroy on Youtube.

I will say that I still don't know if it was my section but my videos and the video here don't really capture the energy. I was suspicious of the people who said the phone videos don't really sound like how it sounds in the arena, but yeah....It just can't quite capture the sound and energy of the crowd or band. To me it sounded special in there even if it sounds regular on the video. SOMEBODY ELSE WHO WAS THERE SOMEBODY TELL ME IM NOT CRAZY

But nevertheless, the corduroy bridge at 8:05

sounded great. a few contempo Ed vocal swirls in immortality, but just enough at/below an acceptable threshold level so as not to spoil the song

what a great transition one into the other

i love both of these songs dearly.... that corduroy alternate take on the vitalogy re-release is prob a top 3 PJ song for me ... nice to see it performed with care/ no hokey call and response
