Volcom popup queue is…long. Pretty normal but I reckon close to a 3.5-4 hour wait now.

Yeah got there early enough to not wait that long but to be fair the staff were amazing and everyone in the line around me had good vibes.

I think we had a 10 minute wait when we visited the mech tent after the gig

Taxi driver from the airport straight up asked if I was here for Pearl Jam. I must look the type.

Told me where they were staying and how there are about 200 people hanging about their hotel. Lol.

A lot of PJ tshirts at the airport.

Vibes are good.

And if I had to wait 10 minutes for merch I'd walk away, let alone 4 hours.

Yeah the merch queue was dumb but I collect the posters from gigs I go to and I just made it before the NYC gig sold out of them so unfortunately my high anxiety drags me to the line.
I had a coffee and my audiobook though so honestly wasn’t too bad.

I’m really hoping for a ‘proper’ opener at at least one of the Sydney shows - there are so great ones I’m yet to see (Release, Of The Girl chief among them). My last two shows have opened with Why Go and DTE
