I'm inclined to agree with you, and I definitely need to revisit this from the start.

Good to see Owen get with Katy. And I was pleased to see her get naked.

He might be a sadistic son of a bitch, but I'm getting a kick out of Gyp Rosetti. That guy is HILARIOUS.

I loved Gyp. Over the top a bit, but he brought something to the show that I really enjoyed. A truly enjoyable villain.

Halfway through Season 4. Almost there.

Man, Season 3 is its own animal. That was out of control, and I loved it.

I was nervous about this dramatic shift forward in time, but I liked the premier well enough.

Yeah, I liked it. We'll see where it takes the season.

I'm actually enjoying the Godfather 2-esque nucky as a child scenes.

Did they just gloss over the death of one of the most essential characters of the show by simply having Lansky refer to his funeral? If so, they sort of short changed that one.

Yeah, that was a surprise? Did they have a problem getting the actor back, or something like that?

The problem was they had one season left and like 10 years until prohibition is repealed. Some things had to be skipped over.

I hadn't realized they skipped ahead so far, but that makes some things from last nights episode make more sense.

I'm just pissed because Rothstein was my favorite character.

I'm pretty excited about seeing the rise of Lucciano.

The real Rothstein died in the late 1920's so they had to write the character off the show. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a flashback or made more references to the events around his death.

The premiere was good enough. I'm intrigued by Chaulky's story line.
