No joke, it's one of the best shows I've ever seen. It should be especially amazing in that intimate old Broadway theater.Captain Termite wrote:Should I go see the David Byrne American Utopia show?
Thanks for the recommendation. It's actually in Boston - they're doing like 25 shows in September within walking distance of my work. So so many tickets are available from the box office, I may be able to get a deep discount on the secondary market for a weekday show.swan wrote:No joke, it's one of the best shows I've ever seen. It's looking like the wife & I will have to go to NYC for a family/baby visit in January, so we may get to see it again. Here's hoping.
I think it's worth whatever you have to pay, but if you can get in cheap on a weekday then no reason to miss it. The Broadway run prices are stupid high, but that's to be expected I suppose. Enjoy!Captain Termite wrote:Thanks for the recommendation. It's actually in Boston - they're doing like 25 shows in September within walking distance of my work. Even face is not outrageous for the upcoming Boston ones. $100 (after fees) for the worst seat in the house, and $150 for decent ones. One cold probably avoid some of the fees by just buying straight from the box office.swan wrote:I think it's worth whatever you have to pay, but if you can get in cheap on a weekday then no reason to miss it.
