I think that if PJ want another record to crack those first seven records, they're going to have to change their lax attitude to making music first. But they probably won't, so they probably won't, and that's... OK. Not ideal, but OK.

To do that I feel they would need to not only have a good 30 songs/demos to choose from but to have a producer who took complete control that wasn't at all worried about treading on toes.

Hmmm... maybe so, in terms of the dynamic. In terms of stamping his style all over the band I think he's done that in spades, though.

I believe he has done what the band want. I have no idea how difficult the band are to work with but I'm sure Bo'B knows not to rock the boat too much. Based on what I've heard so far I'm not sure I'd call it a cohesive listen so maybe it's not a successful album. Only 6 people can truly answer that (although 6 million will also have their opinion).

It's going to be a mishmash of styles; doesn't mean it won't work, necessarily. The track order looks as if it could work. But we need the other songs...
