Has the streamer been responding to the comments audibly all show? It’s the most middle aged lasy thing ever.

Keeping us informed of the venue curfew and bitching about the 2028 Olympics building in the area.

I had fun.

It was very warm and sweaty.

Reading that Eddie told a story about how Billy Strings played Small Town at a talent show when he was in 4th grade and won.

Will less than 20 songs be the new normal? I feel like 23 is the sweet spot. Less than 20 and 2 or 3 are covers will be tough to swallow at 2027 prices.

Festival sets are usually shorter but they have been averaging around 25 the last few years. I doubt they go back to 30-35 tune shows now that Matt’s gone. They ain’t getting any younger.

Other Ohana sets have been in that 19-22 song range, so I don't think this is necessarily an indicator of more traditional shows.

They definitely pay attention to the curfew at Ohana. (Especially on Sunday night?)

That’s how JazzFest is in New Orleans. They want everyone out by 7pm and they get it.

I stand corrected in my text to you earlier about it.

The Billy Strings duet on Small Town is very sweet, given the backstory, but Jesus is it rough, they just shout the song over each other. He absolutely smokes on Throw Your Hatred Down though :bammer:

Jill Vedder was walking around the festival grounds with no security detail. FYI.

prob plainclothes security everywhere, dawg

they’re OK with sigma sigma sigma huskies passing around the bubbler

but not OK if they try to cop a feel without consent

cross that line and your trucker hat will be in the sand faster than you can say Milwaukee’s Beast Ice

and when you come to you realize it was the hawaiian guy next to you with the cooler trucker hat

There were definitely several fuck ups on the songs, but it was charming. They’ve earned that right.

I was Stone’s side maybe 15-20 “rows” back. Directly in front of the speakers and screen on that side. Actually kinda blocked my view of Boom.

Anyway, I dunno man - the sound there for the first few songs was way off. Bass drum and bass guitar way too heavy in the mix, sounded almost crackly like it was blowing a speaker. That got cleaned up a few songs in I guess - particularly noticeable on the slower songs where drums are supposed to be subdued. Not really a problem on faster, louder songs.

My $0.02

I was on the McCready side mid-lawn, the sound was pretty good but a bit trebly at first. Might’ve come from Glen’s intro video, because that was trebly AF.
Then either I got used to it or they fixed it around Daughter.
I switched to earplugs right after Running.
