Definitely one i would love to see, did it sound like they had been practicing it or was it kinda sloppy?
Nothing they played last night was really sloppy.

Oof.

I don't often take issue with the band's setlists but that's a brutally boring run of songs (save Porch).

The continued appearance of those Van Halen covers in the band's sets is truly perplexing.
they played 'aint talkin about love' twice, in the same place for a specific reason. what are you talking about?
The one previous time they unwisely pulled that one out must've made a pretty significant impact on me (and they have let Mike play Eruption more often than that, it must be said).

Honestly, even if it were only two Van Halen covers in their entire 23-year career, that's probably two too many. At least.
how often has he played eruption? 3 times? and its not like they played 'right now', 'aint talkin about love' is awesome.

Van Halen sucks. Aint Talkin' About Love sucks. Eruption sucks.

Eruption has been played 4 times, but 3 of those were this year. It's becoming a frequency issue.

Yeah, Alone was solid. The only other time I heard it live was Boston II '04, which was the first time they played it in a decade; I remember that performance was touch and go. And chud is right: Ed flubbed some lyrics, but in general no sloppiness.

This is a pretty damned good sounding audience recording. I'll be resplicing these tracks to do it proper.

Would love a link when you're done, if possible? I saw you at the show, but you ignored me when I yelled "Chud!"

I tried, but I got washed out by the sea of humanity. And I really had to piss.
