Didn't like it at first, but it grew on me. Looking forward to the rest of the record/series.

They're playing surprise club gigs each week in the cities they recorded in to coincide with the airing of each episode. They played the Cubby Bear in Chicago last week. This Friday they're playing Dave's club in DC, the Black Cat. Tickets for the DC gig were $20, sold at the box office.

line up includes Cheap Trick, Naked Raygun, and Urge Overkill.
with that line up, FF will only play hour and half show w/ curfew.

I'm really enjoying this series. The only think I don't like is the actual Foo Fighters songs at end with the fairly ham-fisted lyrical attempts at tying all the city musical history and stories together.

I know, right. The Albini studio track was so bland it had no drum tone or character at all. Just anoth FF song.

so the songs suck, but i loved both of these episodes. ian mackaye is fucking hysterical. maybe grohl should just make documentaries about music from now on? also, do you guys expect pearl jam to be on this thing?

As long as he splits his time 50/50 with playing drums on Josh Homme side projects.
