Christmas day. A Christmas Story is on loop, so I just normally will have that on in the background.

Usually it's the day after Christmas. Unless it's Love Actually. In which case, I'll watch it any time. All year. Doesn't matter.

i find it very strange that all the world online appears to completely and totally despise that movie. i've seen so many articles talking about what a terrible horrible plague it was upon its release and i'm like, huh. i thought it was just a goofy little movie about people, who knew it's the anti feminist, horrible people, load of schlock that it so obviously was according to the internet...

Me too. Also Colin Ferth. And overly floppy turtleneck sweaters. And Hugh Grant. And romantic comedies. And genuine, heart on sleeving (Emma Thompson ohmygod).

I don't think I've ever seen a movie with Colin Firth in it.

I hadn't seen that movie in like a year. So I put it on a couple of nights ago. Such a fun movie. I had to head to bed before I could finish it, though.

My favorite of all the Batman movies... Campy, fun, Burton-ized, great cast, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman...

I still don't like it as much as Nolan's three or Burton's first. But it's great, yeah.

It's definitely better than The Dark Knight Rises and might be better than Batman (1989).

-Begins was by far my favorite of the Nolan trilogy, despite the Heath Ledger performance.
