i haven't seen the original, but i felt like it was a taut, effective thriller...nothing groundbreaking by any means

While I do really like the Nolan trilogy, it sometimes seems too "realistic" for my superhero tastes. Because of this, Bale's Batman gets ranked below Keaton and probably Affleck.
