Ben's work on "Rowing" is amazing. It almost sounds like SG does Morphine. The band, I mean.

Rowing went from good to great for me. It's really the only song Kim cuts lose on. The bass is awesome too. If I were to rank songs at this point I don't think I would have a below average or average categories. Just good to great.

Switch up Non-State Actor / Bones of Birds, and that might be my rankings as well (with some undecided in the bottom two tiers).

Actually, I think I'd swap BATL / Black Saturday as well.

Wasn't it meant to have been a full-length pro-shot DVD of their Hyde Park show? That seems like it would have been something of a (relatively) big deal.

yeah that hyde park is the dvd coming with the deluxe edition...in the SG board they didnt seemed very happy with it, but i cant find any torrent to see it.

Seems the band filmed the Wiltern show so hopefully thats coming out soon.

Seems the editing and some of the camera choices they made...like during a solo we see Chris and stuff like that.

attrition sucks, non-state actor has average lyrics, halfway there wasn't necessary, taree is a little boring.

BUT OTHER THAN THAT THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME

The lyrics are not what's wrong with Non-State Actor. The problem is mostly its very bland rocktastic melody.

The worst thing about this album is that I cannot believe people don't agree with me about what is good and bad about it.

Attrition should never have made it on the album, terrible bland track that adds nothing to the album. It's like a bad version of Kickstand that goes for twice as long
