If nothing else, My Cherie Amour is one of the most intoxicatingly beautiful pop songs ever.

Stevie Wonder's version of 'We Can Work It Out' actually makes me like the song. Kicks the shit out of the original. So much swag.

I'm really enjoying Signed, Sealed & Delivered. Even if it's not quite as inventive as later albums, the songs in themselves are gloriously entertaining so far. The performances are fantastic, the drumming is a delight, as usual. I'm relatively ignorant but I'd say these songs are among the most typically Motown and Gospel songs I've heard from him so far.

OK, I've been reading reviews online of Stevie's entire run and I'm a bit nervous of moving on from the 70s output. It sounds like the decline is pretty steep, and I've just remembered he wrote "I Just Called to Say I Love You."

"I Just Called To Say I Love You" may be a terrible song, but the music video is pure magic.

Yeah, you really don't want to go past Hotter Than July. Honestly you can really stop after Journey Through "The Secret Life of Plants." But don't worry, there's a ton of 1966-1979 music to enjoy, especially if you're enjoying Signed, Sealed & Delivered.

I am. Very quickly after my last comment I realised the second half is a little weaker. But when I say a little I do mean that, no huge complaints here at all.

What are your feelings on I Believe, the last song on Talking Book? That one has always held a special place for me, and might be my all-time favorite song of his.
