I just dont like that it wont be able to discussed all at once.
Yeah this thread is gonna be a cluster of talk about different episodes all over the place.
That's what Im afraid of. Im going to rush through the show because I want to discuss it.
The things that really give me hope there are the Gob pickup moment and the conversation with Kitty. The other stuff is mostly callback references to previous jokes (although I did laugh that Tobias is the only character who has to say his own name).
The Gob thing was great because it was the first glimpse of this season that registers that "jokes come so fast you don't always appreciate them all" element to the show. The Kitty scene had that mysterious "how do they script these moments?" AD touch....so often, this series is packed with jokes that could under NO circumstances possibly look good on paper, and probably shouldn't be all that funny, but which fit the characters and the feel of the show so perfectly that they're just spectacular.
I've only seen about 3 episodes of this show. But, based on what the internet is telling me, this is a show about one joke. And that joke has now been officially murdered by said internet and pop culture.
Guys, I mean this will all the love in my heart, fuck the goddamn banana stand. Fuck it.

Cornballer > Banana stand
I'm so happy to hear this.
Guys, clearly the show isn't about one joke. That was a joke. But I'm sick to death of the banana stand. Everyone in NYC outside of myself, my wife, and like 9 other people went to Bluth's Banana Stand yesterday. And they all posted on Instagram about it. And they all said something about "money in the banana stand." And all their friends commented. And they all commented about "money in the banana stand."
And I lost my shit for a while. I'm sorry. I just thought for a show as funny as this one is supposed to be, people could find a different reference every once in a while.
I'll watch this thing soon. I just need some time to come down from the banana stand.
